midwest women's mountain bike clinic ~ Where It began

The Midwest Womens Mountain Bike Clinic was founded in October 2005 by Tania Juillerat.  The first clinic was held at Town Run Trail Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Following the success of the October event, a second clinic was held in May 2006.  In 2007, the clinic moved from Town Run Trail Park to Brown County State Park in beautiful Nashville, Indiana.  With the help of the Dirty Divas (Cincinatti, Ohio), clinic participation doubled and nearly 30 women participated in the first "official" Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic.

While the first clinic had only 9 participants, by 2009 the clinic filled with a maximum of 50 riders and more than 90 in 2010.  Participants and volunteers arrived from Indiana and several surrounding states.  Some of our farthest travelling volunteers came from Florida and even Washington state!  The Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic was truly becoming a "Midwest" event!
