This has been such an amazing year for Sub-9. Our events continue to grow and gain recognition throughout the country and we are proud to offer several of the most premier mountain bike events in the Midwest. This year alone our events were either mentioned or featured in many major cycling magazines.
If you haven't seen them already, check out some of our favorite articles from 2012:

However, promoting mountain bike events is not all that we do...
Sub-9 is one of the leaders in mountain bike advocacy alongside the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association in the State. This year alone we completed and sold over 1000 copies of the Brown County Mountain Bike Tourism Map and donated $1000 to the HMBA Trail Fun from proceeds from those sales. These maps will continue to be for available throughout 2013 and will be updated as soon as new Brown County trails are on the ground!
Our popular Brown County Breakdown is not just a mountain bike and bluegrass festival, but one of the largest fundraising events of any mountain bike club in the country. For the second year in a row we were able to raise more than $20,000 for the HMBA, bringing our overall total to more than $90,000 since the event began in 2005!
While most of our focus over the years has been promoting mountain bike trails and tourism at Brown County State Park in Nashville, IN, this year we also put our advocating skills to use a little closer to home. Sub-9 helped lead the charge for mountain bike trails in Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis, IN and spent hours hiking, scouting and planning the proposed mountain bike trail, attending meetings, and creating an online presence through social media and online petitions to rally support from local mountain bikers. While we may not have been able to gain access this year, Sub-9 will continue the push for more trails in Indy's largest city park!
As the year is winding down, we are already gearing up for the upcoming season and thrilled to announce our line up for 2013. Take a look, mark those calendars now and get ready to join us for your favorite Sub-9 events throughout the year!
